TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF RENTAL

MEGA RENT A CAR rates include unlimited mileage,full collision damage waiver with a damage excess in the event of an accident.All authorized drivers of MEGA RENT A CAR vehicles are covered against liability to third parties (excluding passengers in MEGA RENT A CAR vehicles)for death,injury of damage to property ,driver's responsibility for collision damages of MEGA RENT A CAR rented car is for the first 4500 euro for groups A,B, 9000 euro for groups C,D, E.The renter will not be obliged to pay the excluded amounts except for the first 300 euro for the groups A,B, 500 euro for the groups C,D,E.If he accepts to pay for each rental day anadditional charge of 8 euro for groups A,B and 10 euro for groups C,D,E.
Damage to undercarriage of the vehicle ,windscreen or tyres are to the hires responsibility and not covered bythe insurance.All cars are not permitted to leave the island of Corfu.All cars are insured for a maximum number of passengers.MEGA RENT A CAR cannot accept liability for the vehicle being unsuitable for all passengers and luggage.Loss of car key can result in a150 euro fine to replace the key.
The legal drink drive limit in Greece is one unit of alcohol.In event of an accident the police will breathalyse the driver if they suspect he or she has consumed alcohol.Severe penalties can be enforced if the driver id found to be over the limit, so we advise guests to abstain from alcohol .The law insists that you always carry your driving license and car documents with you .A valid driving license held at least one year from the country of residence or an iternational driving permit is required.Driver's age minimum 23 years old.All traffic fines resulting from violations of the greek traffic law are for renter's account.

Please the payments we prefer in euro if possible.


Our price includes:
V.A.T. and local taxes.
Unlimited mileage.
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) insurance without excess, personal liability insurance and theft cover.


Our price does not include:
Fuel (see fuel policy).
Additional drivers, 2€ per day, per driver up to a maximum of 20€ per driver per contract. Maximum of 3 additional drivers per contract.
Baby Seat, 3€ per day up to a maximum of 36€ per contract.
25€ one- way charge when the car is returned to a different office than the office where it was collected. This charge is only applied to contracts of less than 7 days.


Fuel Policy:
A full tank of fuel must be paid on collection of the car. The price of fuel varies according to the make and model of the car and the prevailing fuel prices.
The car should be returned with the tank as empty as possible except in rentals of 3 days or less, where the cost of the remaining fuel will be refunded.
Diesel cars incur an extra cost.


Important Information
The reservation voucher must be presented when collecting the car.
The following documents are also necessary: Passport or DNI, driving licence and a valid credit card.
The CDW insurance does not cover damage to wheels, tyres, car glass, locks, undercarriage or lost keys. Extra insurance cover can be taken out on collection of the car.
Claims must be lodged within 30 days of service rendered.
